Fl Ch – Flat Chips
Flat crystal fragments with splits and rough steps.
1q: 1st quality. Loupe clean stones, stones with minor defect in a peripherical zone.
2q: 2nd quality. Shape requirements are the same. Small surface steps, splits. Uneven splits or minor crack allowed. Inclusions in a peripherical and intermediate zones.
3/4q: 3rd-4th quality. Splits of mechanical origin (from flat-faced to stepped). Small defect, small crack along with defect. Single defect in a central part.
